A 26 year old designer that takes obstacles and challenges and turns them into creativity. I graduated from the rigorous program at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising studying under a Fashion Design degree. Throughout my time at FIDM I also decided to take on a variety of internships that have truly helped shape the person and creative that I am today. I spent a few years working under a variety of professionals. First with an Atelier learning even more about the construction of garments, at the North Face accomplishing true dead lines and understandings of how a larger design corporation succeeds, and lastly under a shoe designer that taught me the ins and outs of creating a brand from scratch.
I am currently the Lead Designer and Director of Outreach at Z Shoes Organic. Z Shoes Organic began a little over a year in ago in 2016, launching off of a kickstarter platform for the first shoe design using organic cotton and rubber sourced and produced in Lima, Peru. I have spent the past year working with a team of 2 other individuals in building an ethical and sustainable footwear brand that drives fashion with purpose. Through this creation I have worked on all ends of the business from styling and shooting our content, to design of product, to curation of strategic marketing campaigns. This is what I live for.
I am always looking to take my creativity to the next level with methodical concepts that can not only take on the fashion industry, but also on an social impact driven level too.
I design with intent and purpose. I design for those who aren't afraid to own who they are and spotlight their inner self. I am designer that is not afraid to blur the lines.
